Set of 2 beautiful large hole beads made individually from high fire white stoneware pottery kiln fired clay.
These beads was individually hand rolled by me, air dried for 3 full days, painstakingly carved on each side with the Aquarian Star symbol, fired for 8 hours at 2000F, then painted a creamy glaze with brown highlights to give the appearance of stone, then fired again.
These 2 large hole beads measure 3/4 inch high by 1 inch in diameter (17mm x 25mm). The holes measure 5/8 inch in diameter ( 15mm).
Perfect for your fibre beading projects, dread beads for hair accessories, or making solitary jewelry pieces!
**Each set is unique, one of a kind. What you see in the photos are what you will receive. Color intensity may vary from PC monitor to smartphone screen.**
Origins of the Unicursal Hexagram:
A six-pointed star that can be traced or drawn unicursally, in one continuous line rather than by two overlaid triangles. The hexagram can also be depicted inside a circle with the points touching it. It is often depicted in an interlaced form with the lines of the hexagram passing over and under one another to form a knot. It is the same shape as depicted in Blaise Pascal's 1639 Hexagrammum Mysticum Theorem.
It has been portrayed in pop culture as "The Aquarian Star" as the Men of Letters secret symbol in the television series "Supernatural" to ward off evil entities and was also carved into the gates to Atlantis. It was also part of the symbol called "The Seal of Orichalcos" that was prominent in the Waking the Dragons arc of Yu-Gi-Oh, on the cover of the Bring Me the Horizon single "Drown".
A modified version of the symbol appears on the cover of Mindless Self Indulgence's fifth studio album and serves as a symbol of Inferno fraction in the Heroes of Might and Magic V.
