A beautiful rendition of The Big Crane, an ancient Native American cliff petroglyph (rock drawing) from the American southwest created in high fire clay.
I formed this clay pendant, carved the Crane then fired it for several hours in the kiln. I then glazed the pendant and back again in the kiln for another firing.
Threaded onto a black satin adjustable cord. The pendant measures 1-3/4'' long by 1" wide by 3/16" thick (45mm x 25mm x 4mm).
