Watercolour painting with silver highlights on wood of the ancient Lemurian Mu Light Language. Lemuria or Mu as some call it was an ancient civilisation thought to exist before Atlantis, an island continent that mysteriously disappeared thousands of years ago. The symbols are the ancient language of that civilisation.
Created with wood taken from fallen trees on my land, this is a slice of Canadian White Birch, approximately 3 inches in diameter (7.5cm)_a little over 3/8 of an inch thick (1cm) that I cut, sanded and painted with watercolour paints. Painting watercolours on wood is tricky, but the end result is a more translucent painting than acrylics or oils. The painting is sealed with a UV & moisture-resistant acrylic sealant.
Comes with a hook in back so that you can hang it or simply put it on an easel.
**Thickness of the wood slice may vary slightly from one piece to another since each painting is created individually and no two are alike. Colour intensity may also vary from PC monitor to smartphone screen.**
