Set of 2 beautiful sea turquoise Aquarian Star pendants handmade from high fire white stoneware clay.
Each pendant has been individually hand rolled by me, air dried for 3 full days, carved with the Troll Cross, then fired for 8 hours at 1600F. After the firing, I glazed each pendant on BOTH sides with non toxic glazes then back in the kiln for a 1900F firing for several hours again.
The oval pendants average about 1-1/2 inches long by a little over 1 inch wide by 1/8 inch thick (40mm x 26mm x 4mm ),
Perfect for your beading projects, jewelry designs or where ever you may want to put them, have fun!
**Due to the hand rolling process, there are slight variations in thickness and size. I do not use any molds and I etch the designs by hand into each pendant. Each set is unique, one of a kind. What you see in the photos are what you will receive. Color intensity may vary from PC monitor to smartphone screen.**
Origins of the Unicursal Hexagram:
A six-pointed star that can be traced or drawn unicursally, in one continuous line rather than by two overlaid triangles. The hexagram can also be depicted inside a circle with the points touching it. It is often depicted in an interlaced form with the lines of the hexagram passing over and under one another to form a knot. It is the same shape as depicted in Blaise Pascal's 1639 Hexagrammum Mysticum Theorem.
It has been portrayed in pop culture as "The Aquarian Star" as the Men of Letters secret symbol in the television series "Supernatural" to ward off evil entities and was also carved into the gates to Atlantis. It was also part of the symbol called "The Seal of Orichalcos" that was prominent in the Waking the Dragons arc of Yu-Gi-Oh, on the cover of the Bring Me the Horizon single "Drown".
A modified version of the symbol appears on the cover of Mindless Self Indulgence's fifth studio album and serves as a symbol of Inferno fraction in the Heroes of Might and Magic V.
