A beautiful rendition of The Big Crane, an ancient Native American cliff petroglyph (rock drawing) from the American southwest created in high-fire clay.
I formed these clay pendants, carved the Crane then fired it for several hours in the kiln. I then glazed the pendants and back again in the kiln for another firing.
The pendants average 1-5/8'' long by 1" wide by 3/16" thick (42-45mm x 25-27mm x 4mm). On adjustable satin cords.
